Music doesn’t require talent. It doesn’t require certain genes. It just requires practice! Music theory is the ticket to success.

In an algorithm-rich world that tailor makes every moment specifically for you, it's easy to miss or forget the value in small group learning. MYTH: Tension means playing dissonant notes Effective practice isn’t about how long you sit at the instrument, it’s about how consistently your brain returns to the task. Short, regular sessions strengthen motor memory and focus more reliably than infrequent long ones, which often lead to fatigue and diminishing returns. The Circle of Fifths shows how keys are related by shared notes, not just by accidentals. Moving clockwise adds one sharp at a time; moving counter-clockwise adds one flat; revealing why nearby keys sound closely connected. Challenge: Use register to shape emotion 🥾 Two thirds of Canadian adults are only outside for a total of 2 hrs per week! That's nuts!
